 Pastor Ronald E. Smith Jr. is the Senior Pastor of His Cloud of Glory Christian Center Church in Elgin, IL. Known affectionately by many around the world as "Pastor Ron", Pastor Ron is an anointed prophetic teacher of the word of God, providing outstanding leadership, teaching and preaching that equips and inspires individuals of all walks of life to dig deeper into the Word of God. He is married to the lovely Ava Smith who is his partner in ministry and is father to one son, Jonathan.
Pastor Ron has been under God's divine plan for his life at a very early age. Pastor Ron and Ava are members of the Association of Independent Ministries "AIM" led by Drs. I. V. & Bridget Hilliard of New Light Christian Center (Houston, TX). Pastor Ron was raised in the ministry of the Apostolic Church of God under the leadership of Bishop Arthur M. Brazier. He presently serves as President of Scripture of the Day International, a global teaching ministry that has spread throughout America, London UK, Africa, Philippines and Guam with over 500 participators and partners. He also serves as the Financial Controller for International Teams, a global missions organization based in Elgin, IL supporting over 1000 missionaries in over 61 countries around the world. He is the CEO of Reach 1 World Travel, a for profit company birthed out of a desire to see projects for the kingdom of God financed in abundance. Pastor Ron travels globally preaching and teaching God’s Word and will have the privilege of teaching in Manila, Philippines, and Wales in 2008. He has successfully bridged the gap among numerous ethnic groups.
 Pastor Ava Smith serves diligently alongside her husband in ministry as Co-Pastor of His Cloud of Glory Christian Center. Ava teaches the Word of God in a simplistic powerful manner making sure that people understand what it means to Pursue, Overtake and Recover all the enemy has stolen and how God has a greater return. Her teaching style is joyfully personable and relates to the issues and victories women face daily. She is the founder and director of Ladies Locker Room Women’s Fellowship, Extreme Take~Over Women’s Ministry, and GLOW (God’s Leaders of the World) Teen Ministry. She is the senior administrator for GLOFEST – “God’s Love Outside” outreach ministry. In addition to her many responsibilities with ministry and home, Ava reaches out to women and teens that are lost and hurting with challenges that may seem hard to overcome in this world. God has really blessed her with a gift of boldness and she ministers powerfully to young people whether on the streets or in church. God has given her a unique way of approaching strangers with an uncompromising, gift of love. As a young woman before entering ministry, she experienced a life of many struggles, abuse, rejection, rebellion and single parenting. After a few years of very hard life lessons, she gave her life totally to Jesus Christ and began to hunger for God's word, relationship and a serious change in her life.
Ava was ordained in October 2007 under the Association of Independent Ministries. (A.I.M.) under the leadership of Drs. I.V. and Bridget Hilliard of New Light Christian Center in Houston, TX.
